Visit of Ambassador Galstyan to Baia Mare city

On December 14, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania  paid a visit to the city of Baia Mare.

Within the framework of the visit, the Armenian Ambassador had a meeting with Ioan-Doru Dankoush, the newly elected mayor of Baia Mare. At the meeting, the important contribution of the Armenian 
community to the development of the city with a rich history of national minorities and intercultural solidarity was mutually valued, as well as the prospects of active involvement of the city of
Baia Mare in the context of Armenian-Romanian decentralized cooperation.

Upon the invitation of Sorin Gdlean, President of the Baia Mare branch of the Union of Armenians in Romania, Ambassador Galstyan and Mayor Dankoush attended the "Together" scientific conference 
dedicated to the Day of National Minorities of Romania, organized by the Armenian and German communities of the city under the patronage of the Armenian Ambassador.

The conference was followed by cultural events, in which leaders of the local Hungarian, Jewish, Polish and Slovak communities, as well as other branches of the Union of Armenians in Romania, 
also participated.
