Bilateral Relations

General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and Romania were established on December 17, 1991.

On January 18, 2018 Sergey Minasyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, presented his credentials to the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis.

On July 4, 2019, Cornel Ionescu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Armenia, presented his credentials to the President of Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.
