Ambassador Tigran Galstyan met with the rector of Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Nicolae Istudor

On 4 June, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, visited the Bicharest University of Economic Studies and had a meeting with the rector Nicolae Istudor.

The course of Armenian-Romanian relations in the field of higher education, the ongoing joint programs, the prospects of further activation of the existing contacts between universities and the establishment of new formats of inter-university cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The importance of establishing partnership relations between Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the State University of Economics of Armenia, including mutual visits of professors and exchange of students, as well as cooperation within the framework of international educational, training and mobility programs, were emphasized.

Both sides attached importance to the regular contacts between the research centers of the universities and the implementation of researches aimed at dicovering the potential of bilateral economic relations between Armenia and Romania.
