On 25 March, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with the Chairperson of the Committee for Foreign Policy of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, Biró Rozália Ibolya.

The interlocutors spoke with satisfaction about the recently activated Armenian-Romanian intergovernmental and interparliamentary contacts, including the mutual visits that have already taken place, as well as the planned ones.

Both sides emphasized that the historical friendship and the dynamics of relations between the two countries have created good premises for the further strengthening and deepening of bilateral cooperation in various fields, with an emphasis on contacts between parliaments as well as the mutual support within inter-parliamentary fora.

Referring to the regional security and economic interconnectivity, Ambassador Galstyan presented the initiatives of the Republic of Armenia, emphasizing the importance of their support by international partners, particularly in the parliamentary format as well.
