Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Romanian Senate

On May 5, on the margins of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan met with Titus Corlățean, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Romanian Senate.

During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the Armenia–Romania bilateral agenda, emphasizing the importance of further expanding political dialogue and parliamentary cooperation. The opportunities for deepening sectoral cooperation, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity, energy, and information technologies were also discussed.

The parties also discussed the strategic agenda of the Armenia–EU partnership, touching upon the first Armenia–EU Summit held on May 5 and its outcomes. Both sides underscored the importance of cooperation within the framework of the European Union and the implementation of joint initiatives.

The meeting also touched upon international and regional developments.
