Commemoration ceremony was held in Bucharest dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

On April 26, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania and the Embassy staff participated in the commemoration ceremony for the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Cathedral of the Holy Archangels in Bucharest.

A liturgy dedicated to the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and the commemoration of the canonized victims of the Genocide was held, led by Bishop Tatev Hakobyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Romania, followed by wreath-laying ceremony.  Along with the Romanian-Armenian community, the ceremony was also attended by the representatives of the Romanian Orthodox Church and other religious groups, as well as ambassadors and diplomats from a number of friendly countries.
