Meeting with Chair of Friendship Group with Armenia in the Romanian Parliament

On May 26, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, hosted Senator Cătălin Graur, the newly appointed Chair of the Friendship 
Group with Armenia in the newly elected Romanian Parliament.

The Armenian Ambassador wished the Friendship Group success in its endeadours, emphasizing the Embassy's full readiness to support its activities.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the prospects for activating multi-sectoral bilateral cooperation within the traditional Armenian-Romanian friendly relations and the importance of 
activating parliamentary diplomacy in this regard.

The interlocutors discussed steps aimed at establishing security and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, as well as promoting comprehensive economic interconnectivity of the Black Sea 
region, and the initiatives developed by the Armenian Government in this direction.
