Meeting of Armenian Ambassador to Romania with Chairman of European Affairs Committee in Romanian Senate

On March 26, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, met with Mihai Coteț, the newly appointed Chairman of the European Affairs Committee in the Romanian Senate.

A wide range of issues related to the agenda of Armenia-Romania bilateral parliamentary cooperation were discussed at the meeting. 

Reference was made to the deepening of Armenia-EU partnership and the importance of active parliamentary diplomacy pursued by EU member states.

The Armenian Ambassador presented to the interlocutor the regional developments and the steps taken by the Armenian government to establish sustainable peace. 

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening Armenian-Romanian economic cooperation in the context of the comprehensive economic development of the the Black Sea region.
