Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia participated in the "European Dialogues" series of events held in Bucharest

On 3-5 June, as part of the “ European Dialogues” initiative, a series of events were held with the participation of experts and students from several European countries. The program was organized by the French Embassy in Romania in collaboration with the French Institute in Bucharest.

On 5 June, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Romania, participated as a speaker in the roundtable titled “ Diplomacy in a conflict-ridden world”. The discussion focused on the evolving security

landscape in Europe and the South Caucasus, highlighting the pivotal role of diplomacy in conflict resolution and peacebuilding processes.

Ambassador Galstyan, emphasized that diplomacy must serve as a proactive instrument for conflict prevention and establishment of lasting peace, rather than solely addressing the aftermath of crises

stressing the essential role of safeguarding democratic values and fundamental freedoms in strengthening societal resilience amid contemporary global challenges.

The roundtable concluded with an interactive Q&A session involving the participants.

On 4 June as part of the “European Dialogues” program, a discussion was held with students from French and Romanian universities, who presented their research and analytical perspectives

on security challenges facing the European region to the Ambassadors of Armenia, France, and Morocco to Romania.
