Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with Ligia Deca, Minister of Education of Romania

On 9 June, Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania had a meeting with Ligia Deca, Minister of Education of Romania.

The importance of cooperation in the field of education as a future-oriented investment and a key component of bilateral relations between Armenia and Romania was emphasized during the meeting. In this regard, the interlocutors have positively evaluated the forth-coming signing of the Inter-Ministerial Cooperation Program in the field of education for 5 years.

The prospects of the Armenian-Romanian cooperation in the field of higher education were also addressed, emphasizing the continuous growth of direct cooperation between the universities of the two countries. The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia shared his impressions following the visits made to the Romanian universities during the previous month and the arrangements reached during these meetings.

Thoughts were exchanged regarding the mutual visits of the Armenian and Romanian students made during this year and the ones expected in the future via various university programs, as well as concerning the educational cooperation in a multilateral format, in particular, with the more active involvement of the University Agency of Francophonie and the European University Network.
