On 8 May, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting at the Embassy with Claudia Nicolae, Director General of the National Press Agency of Romania, Agerpres.

At the meeting, the exisiting cooperation between the national news agencies of Armenia and Romania and the perspectives of its deepening were discussed, mentioning the importance of the agreement of cooperation and exchange of information with the Armenian news agency, Armenpress.

Reference was made to the quality and impartial coverage of the events in the two friendly countries, as well as to the joint work in the direction of the popularization of Romanian-Armenian community events and Armenian culture.

The interlocutors emphasized the key role of freedom of information and speech in the public life of both countries, expressing willingness to continue and strengthen cooperation in all possible formats.
