On 28 March, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with Andrei Daniel Gheorghe, the Chairperson of the Friendship parliamentary group with Armenia within the Romanian Parliament.

Noting the positive dynamics in the Armenian-Romanian friendly relations, the role of parliamentary diplomacy in the further activation of bilateral contacts was also highlighted.

Reference was made to the course of cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest, as well as to the promotion of collaboration between friendship groups of the Parliaments of Armenia and Romania.

The interlocutors also exchanged ideas on the initiatives within the framework of Armenia-EU partnership, as well as the issues of mutual support in multilateral inter-parliamentary fora.

Ambassador Galstyan presented to the member of the Romanian Parliament the security and humanitarian situation in the region and the efforts made by the Republic of Armenia to stabilize it.
