Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on European Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, Ștefan Mușoiu.

On 18 March, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on European Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, Ștefan Mușoiu.

During the meeting, the interlocutors referred to the rich history of Armenian-Romanian friendly relations and their further strengthening.

The role of the parliamentary diplomacy in the further deepening of the relations between the two countries and the activation of inter-parliamentary contacts were emphasized by both sides.

Possible ways of expanding cooperation in the economic sphere and the importance of Romania's active support within the framework of deepening Armenia-EU partnership were discussed.

Thoughts were exchanged regarding the regional security and humanitarian situation, as well as the efforts made by Armenia in the direction of regional economic interconnectivity.
