Ambassador Tigran Galstyan participated in the General Meeting of the Union of Armenians in Romania

On 16 March, upon the invitation of the Union of Armenians in Romania, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan, participated in the 2024 UAR General Meeting.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Galstyan emphasized the historically important role and exemplary involvement of the Romanian-Armenian community in the public life of Romania, as well as the invaluable contribution to the development of the Armenian-Romanian bilateral relations, expressing confidence that the Union's bridging role in that direction will continue and be further strengthened.

During the General Meeting, which was attended by the representatives of the Union from different regions of Romania, the main directions of activities of the current year and the main planned events were presented.

Also, elections were held, with the re-election of Mr. Varujan Vosganian as the President of the Union of Armenians in Romania.
