Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with Titus Corlățean, President of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Senate of Romania

On 15 March, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with Titus Corlățean, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Senate of Romania.

Highlighting the solid historical foundation of Armenian-Romanian friendship and the exisitng positive dynamics of bilateral relations, both sides emphasizing the further strengthening and rapprochement of inter-parliamentary ties, including in the context of deepening of the partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the steps to be taken in the direction of continuous mutual support within international parliamentary fora and the activation of mutual contacts and visits between the parliamentary groups of the two countries.

Touching upon the security challenges in the region, Ambassador Galstyan intoduced the initiatives of the Republic of Armenia aimed at deepening of the regional interconnectivity and the efforts of establishing lasting peace, emphasizing the importance of supporting them through parliamentary diplomacy.
