Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee of European Affairs of the Romanian Senate, Vasile Dîncu

On 14 March, the meeting of Tigran Galstyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania and Vasile Dîncu, Chairman of the Committee of European Affairs of the Senate of Romania, took place.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon the issues related to the expansion of Armenian-Romanian parliamentary dialogue, existing cooperation and its prospects, emphasizing the continuous promotion of inter-parliamentary ties.

The imperative of full implementation of the potential of cooperation between Armenia and Romania in all possible fields and further strengthening of positive dynamics based on the stable foundations of Armenian-Romanian historical friendship and in the conditions of the current deepening of the relations between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union was emphasized by both sides.

Ambassador Galstyan presented the regional security challenges and the efforts of the Republic of Armenia to address them, emphasizing the importance of continuous support of the EU and member states to these efforts, including through active parliamentary diplomacy.
