Meeting between Ambassador of Armenia, Tigran Galstyan and Prime Minister of Romania, Marcel Ciolacu

On 4 March, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan, had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Romania, Marcel Ciolacu.

The Head of the Romanian Government congratulated the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia on his assumption of office, wishing him success in his mission.

The further strengthening and deepening of the interstate relations in line with the rich history of friendship between the Armenian and Romanian peoples, including the activation of political dialogue at all levels were highlighted at the meeting.

The parties exchanged ideas on deepening economic ties between two countries, close cooperation within the framework of Armenia-EU partnership, as well as the issues related to the implementation of regional communication and interconnectivity programs.

The process of collaboration between the Armenian and Romanian state bodies in the aspects of mutual interest and the possible new directions of cooperation were also discussed.

Reference was made to the security and humanitarian challenges in the South Caucasian and the Black Sea regions and the exerting efforts to solve them.
