Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with President of the Senate of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă

On February 27, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with the President of the Senate of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă.

In the framework of the meeting, in line with the deepening of relations between the two countries, the steps towards the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the activation of contacts and reciprocal visits between the parliamentary friendship groups, as well as the collaboration within the international inter-parliamentary structures were thoroughly discussed.

Noting with satisfaction the traditional warm ties between the two peoples, the interlocutors also touched upon the bilateral and Black Sea regional economic projects aimed at deepening Armenian-Romanian relations, as well as joint projects within Armenia-European Union partnership.

Ambassador Galstyan presented to the interlocutor the existing regional security-related challenges and the steps to address them.

The initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Armenia aimed at operating the communication channels and developing economic interconnectivity in the South Caucasus were also discussed at the meeting.
