Ambassador Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with Matt Ian David, DAN AIR Executive Director

Amid growing bilateral tourism, a second airline will launch direct flights between Yerevan and Bucharest starting in July 2026. In this context, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan, welcomed DAN AIR Executive Director Matt Ian David and Communications and Marketing Manager Irina Elena Dreghicianu at the Embassy. The meeting was also attended by Vahe Hovakimyan, Head of the Armenian Business Council of Romania.

The interlocutors reviewed preparations for the launch of the new direct Yerevan–Bucharest flight on July 1 and discussed measures to further promote tourism between the two countries. They also addressed the establishment of regular cargo transportation links aimed at strengthening bilateral trade, along with opportunities to deepen cooperation between the Armenian and Romanian business communities.
