On 13 March, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan had a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Daniela Gîtman.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the activation of the existing political dialogue between the two countries, attaching importance to the expansion of cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.

Issues related to the deepening of Armenia-EU partnership were discussed emphasizing the importance and the perspectives of using the existing mechanisms to their maximum capacity.

Reference was made to the security and humanitarian challenges in the region, as well as the efforts of the Government of the Republic Armenia aimed at ensuring transport communication and economic interconnectivity.
